  1. Deputy Minister, Mr Andries Nel led a student engagement in Kimberley to reflect on the significance of the Constitution, the engagement took place on 20 March 2026.
  2. Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi joined the Sharpeville Massacre commemoration and Anti-Racism launch by the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation. The commemoration took place on 15 March 2026, beginning with a wreath laying ceremony at Phelindaba Cemetery, followed by a community engagement at the Sharpeville Human Rights Precinct.
  3. The Promotion of the Rights of Vulnerable Groups Chief Directorate raised awareness on Sexual Offences laws and NRSO vetting at Sammy Marks Square (Tshwane Central ) and Boulders Mall (Midrand) on 12 March 2026.

  1. Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi led the Justice Forum meeting in Pretoria. The engagement brought together the Department’s managers from the head office and provincial offices, as well as key stakeholders, to reflect on the state of the justice system. The meeting took place on 6 March 2026.
  2. Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi led the national launch of the 30-year anniversary of the Constitution which also marked the commencement of Human Rights Month. The launch took place at the Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg on 02 March 2026.
  3. The National Prosecuting Authority hosted the Aspirant Prosecutor Programme Graduation Ceremony at the NPA offices in Silverton. Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi, supported by Deputy Minister Andries Nel attended the ceremony on 27 February 2026.
  4. Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi met with officials from Supply Chain Management, Information and Communication Technology, and Security to inform them that the Special Investigating Unit (SIU) has been appointed to conduct lifestyle audits on officials working in the mentioned Directorates. The meeting took place on 26 February 2026.

Justice and Constitutional Development Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi, Cooperative Government and Traditional Affairs Deputy Minister Zolile Burns-Ncamashe and Mahikeng Local Municipality Mayor Tshepiso Mphehlo, hosted a consultative breakfast with North West traditional leaders discussing the implementation of the Traditional Courts Act on 6 January 2026.
