Signing of summonses, pleadings and documents with advanced electronic signature

• Every summons, pleading or document that was signed by an attorney with an advanced electronic signature must be certified by a person who is in the employ of the attorney.
• This person must sign the certificate in the original.
• The certificate must be placed next to the electronic signature and the person should be in a position to state with his/her first-hand knowledge that the summons, pleading or document was digitally signed with an advanced electronic signature.
• The person must also state his/her full details for identification purposes and also state the accreditation authority information in respect of the signature.
