Minister Kubayi and Adv Batohi to Honour Aspirant Prosecutors at Graduation Ceremony

The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) invites members of the media to the graduation ceremony of the Aspirant Prosecutor Programme, taking place at the Bridgitte Mabandla Justice College in Pretoria.

The event will be attended by the Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development, Honourable Mmamoloko Kubayi, alongside the National Director of Public Prosecutions (NDPP), Adv Shamila Batohi. This year, 300 Aspirant Prosecutors will graduate from the programme.  

The 12-month internship is designed to provide law graduates with hands-on prosecutorial training. The training programme equips participants with the necessary legal skills and courtroom experience to prepare them for prosecutorial roles in the lower courts. Upon successful completion, graduates may be appointed as entry-level prosecutors within the NPA.
