The Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development, Ms Thembi Simelane, will deliver a keynote address at the 5th anniversary celebration and Annual General Meeting of the Pan African Bar Association of South Africa (PABASA) on 2 November 2024. This important milestone marks half a decade of PABASA’s work towards advancing transformation and empowering Black legal practitioners within South Africa’s legal profession.
PABASA was established with the aim of upholding high standards and creating a more representative legal fraternity. Over the years, the organisation has been a powerful force in championing inclusivity and breaking down barriers for Black and female advocates.
