Minister Lamola to mark the end of the Wills Week Campaign by engaging members of the public in Mamelodi

The Minister of Justice and Correctional Services, Mr Ronald Lamola, will on 16 September 2022, officially mark the end of the National Wills Week campaign in Mamelodi (Pretoria).

The Annual Wills Week campaign which ran from 12 – 16 September 2022, is a joint initiative between the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development, the Law Society of South Africa (LSSA), Legal Aid South Africa and the South African Women Lawyers Association (SAWLA).

Minister Lamola will during the interaction, impart information on the importance of drafting a Will and how deceased estates are administered. Members of the public will be afforded an opportunity to engage with the Minister, legal practitioners and draft their Wills at no cost.

A Will is a legal document that ensures that one’s estate is administered in accordance with his/her wishes after death.
