Minister Lamola to deliver a keynote address at SADC Lawyer’s Association Annual General Meeting

The Minister of Justice and Correctional Services, Ronald Lamola, will on Thursday, 24 March 2022, deliver a keynote address at the 21st edition of the Southern African Development Community Lawyer’s Association (SADC-LA) Annual General Conference to be held from 24-25 March 2022 in Boksburg, South Africa.

Observed under the theme ‘Equipping the Legal Profession for Post Covid-19 Human Rights Restoration and Economic Recovery – Adapting Beyond the Pandemic’, thematic topics will be premised on the State of Human Rights, Rule of Law, Democracy and Governance in the SADC region.

The SADC-LA constitutes law societies, bar associations as well as individual lawyers from the 15 member Southern African region and is the only organisation where lawyers across the region converge. The organisation is involved in numerous activities at the regional and international levels aimed at strengthening, defending and advancing the rule of law in the SADC and beyond.
