KwaZulu-Natal Justice Department urges accused persons, complainants and previously subpoenaed witnesses to secure new dates of Court appearance

04 September 2020

KwaZulu-Natal Regional Office of the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development urges all accused persons, complainants and previously subpoenaed witnesses to check their new dates of court appearances at courts where their cases are being heard. The cases were postponed during lockdown alert levels 5, 4 and 3.

The new court dates can be obtained by visiting the court in person or contacting the court manager at the court where one’s case is on trial before 21 September 2020. Warrants of arrest which were previously authorised will be stayed, their execution will only be effected on those who fail to secure a new court date by 21 September 2020.
