Media statement on Court Directions

The Ministry of Justice and Correctional Services has noted a document purporting to be court directions which will cover the national lockdown period.

Members of the public and legal practitioners are advised that the official regulations are published in the government gazette after the requisite consultative processes are adhered to.

Minister Ronald Lamola will divulge the plans of the Departments' of justice and correctional services in so far as the implementation the national lockdown is concerned at the justice crime prevention and security cluster press briefing which is scheduled as follows:
