Justice Department to host the last provincial consultation on the draft National Action Plan to combat Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerances in the North West Province

The Department of Justice and Constitutional Development will host the last provincial consultation on the draft National Action Plan to Combat Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerances (NAP) in Mafikeng, North West on Thursday, 18 August 2016.

The purpose of the NAP is to provide South Africa with a comprehensive policy framework to address racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerances at both a private and public level. The North West provincial consultation forms part of various engagements on the draft NAP that the Department, together with various partners, has hosted countrywide.

The consultation seeks to mobilise and call upon all who live in South Africa to constructively contribute towards the finalisation of the NAP.
