Minister of Justice and Correctional Services, Advocate Michael Masutha will address the twelfth annual general conference of the South African Chapter of the International Association of Women Judges (SAC-IAWJ) in Cape Town on Saturday, 13thAugust 2016.
The conference seeks to, amongst others, address challenges of women leaders in a democratic society, to highlight the role of the Justice Ministry in enhancing dialogue on judicial leadership and the advancement of women towards a representative and inclusive judiciary.
This year’s conference is being hosted by the SAC-IAWJ in partnership with the University of Cape Town and the Democratic Governance and Rights Unit under the theme: The role of the judiciary in realising socio-economic transformation as a tool towards achieving sustainable development goals.
