The community of Nyanga Township and surrounding areas will have an opportunity to interact with the Minister of Justice and Correctional Services, Adv. Michael Masutha during an Imbizo on Friday, 29 July 2016.
The Minister will initially reflect on various issues that affect the community such as child maintenance, substance abuse and crime and outline government interventions.
This Imbizo will be attended by approximately 900 community members as well as representatives from Justice, Crime Prevention and Security (JCPS) clusters, such as the Departments of Home Affairs, Social Development, South African Police Services, and Health.
During the course of the day, various departments and key role players will provide free government services such as issuing of Identity Documents, Birth Registration, legal advice and health screening.
