Deputy Minister Jeffery to celebrate Mandela Day with Children In Need

As part of the Department’s Mandela Day celebrations, the Deputy Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development, Mr John Jeffery will visit Mzamo Crèche in Nsimbini, KwaZulu-Natal. The crèche serves as a skills development centre to prepare young children for formal schooling.

Nelson Mandela International Day is celebrated annually on 18 July, in honour of Madiba’s legacy. In commemorating the values of the former President, many organisations and individuals engage in acts of goodwill during the month, to assist those who are in need.

Deputy Minister Jeffery and departmental officials will donate necessities such as blankets, stationery, groceries and toiletries to the crèche.
