Department of Justice to officially launch a National Action Plan to Combat Racism, Discrimination, Xenophobia and Intolerance

The Department of Justice and Constitutional Development will host a National Consultative Dialogue to discuss the draft National Action Plan to Combat Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance (NAP) from Monday, 29 February to Tuesday, 01 March 2016 in Cape Town, Western Cape province.

Representatives from the judiciary, chapter 9 institutions, civil society, public and private sector will converge to mark the commencement of the public consultation process following the approval of the draft National Action Plan by Cabinet in December last year.

This will be followed by provincial consultation drive to mobilize all members of the society in all the provinces to contribute constructively towards the shaping of the National Action Plan final document.
