CWAG Executive Director Karen White met with South Africa Minister of Justice Michael Masutha in June, to begin a dialogue on establishing a robust interchange and discuss areas of collaboration between our organizations, including support for the rule of law and combatting transnational criminal activities such as human trafficking, money laundering, and weapons trafficking.

interested in the field of law. Before embarking on this exciting and rewarding career, it
is, however, necessary to know what the academic requirements, the nature of work and
the promotion possibilities are for each of the careers available within the legal profession"

Publication of the 2020/21 Justice College Prospectus and call for training needs requests and submission of applications for programmes
The Justice College Prospectus for 2020/21 has now been published. The scheduling of the Justice College training programme was, like many other activities, suspended in order to observe and heed the call for the national lockdown necessitated by the declaration of the national state of disaster to save lives and avoid the devastation of the COVID-19 virus.
In preparation for the scheduling of the training programmes and to provide training for the remainder of the financial year the Justice College is calling for nominations of learners who wish to participate in its training programme by 30 July 2020.
Heads of Branches and Offices are requested to nominate and thereafter submit names and location of the officials who wish to receive training in the various programme offerings of the Justice College outlined in the Prospectus. The nominated officials are requested to submit their applications forms accompanied by the nomination letter signed by their Head of the branch/office to: 086 653 2959 - Carina Van Der Walt or
086 653 3307 – Lesego Maloka.
The dates, method of delivery and venues will be decided upon receipt of all nominations. Officials and their respective Regional Offices will be informed of these details prior to finalisation of the training arrangements.
