On 4 February 2025, South Africa commemorates 28 years since the commencement of the South African Constitution. 28 years later, Our Constitution stands as a beacon of democracy, human rights, and the rule of law.

It is our collective responsibility to honour this legacy by continuing to uphold its principles and striving for a more just and equitable society.

Our Constitution - A living document. The Constitution is more than just a legal text; it's a living document that continiously shapes our governance, laws and society. Upholding and protecting it is a shared responsibility for all of us.
Bill of Rights - A promise to All. At the core of the Constitution lies the Bill of Rights, a powerful guarantee of fundamental freedoms. It ensures that every South African enjoys human dignity, equality and the freedoms that make us human.
