Be cautious of scammers posing as Department of Justice and Constitutional Development officials in connection with tenders issued by the Department. It is crucial to emphasize that the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development's Supply Chain Management (SCM) will never communicate its intent to award any bid by requesting payment from prospective service providers!

Legitimate procurement processes do not involve payment demands to SCM Senior Managers or any official from the Department for an award to be finalized. Any such request for funds is a red flag indicative of potential fraudulent activity.

Prospective service providers are strongly advised to exercise due diligence, verify all communication through official channels, and report any suspicious requests to the appropriate authorities to ensure the integrity of the tendering process.
