Minister Masutha to announce decision on the petition of King Dalindyebo

The Minister of Justice and Correctional Services, Adv Michael Masutha, will announce his decision on a petition that has been submitted by lawyers representing King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo. In the petition they seek Ministers’ directive for a reopening of the case by Mthatha High Court in terms of section 327 of the Criminal Procedure Act 51 of 1977.
King Dalindyebo is expected to hand himself to the Head of Mthatha Correctional Centre to serve his 12 years imprisonment as per bail conditions.
